Review by hotel critic
A Family-Friendly Retreat at Maison d'hôtes du Carrec Our recent stay at Maison d'hôtes du Carrec was a charming family getaway. The spacious and immaculately clean rooms offered remarkable comfort, making it an ideal choice for families. Each morning, we delighted in a well-prepared breakfast served in a sunlit room overlooking the sea. The variety included homemade breads, galettes, and local cheeses, although adding more fresh vegetables could enhance the experience further. Previously, we enjoyed lovely hikes along the Brittany coast, which is accessible with a short walk from the property. Another highlight for us was the nearby galette restaurant, a must-visit—though reservations were necessary. Isabelle, the host, proved welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home. She offered helpful suggestions for local activities and dining, making our exploration seamless.
